You’re invited to our next Changemakers Series event!

1024 729 The Hunger Project Australia

After a successful first event in our Changemakers Series, we are returning for a very special second event in Melbourne on the power of being resilient.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from one of Bangladesh’s most powerful and compassionate forces for change. Dr. Badiul Alam Majumdar, Country Director of The Hunger Project Bangladesh, will be coming to Australia for the first time in nine years. For the past 28 years, he has boldly interrupted the social and political structures in Bangladesh. He has replaced division, corruption and extremism with peace, trust and respect for human rights. A perfect example of a changemaker, he will be leading this conversation about resilience and leadership.

Through his work at a grassroots level, Dr. Majumdar has firsthand experience of what it takes to become an effective leader. He will share stories of resilient and resourceful Bangladeshi women who are successfully tackling issues including chronic hunger, gender inequality and child marriage.

“Badiul is a superstar. He is energetic, he is dedicated. He is utterly unreasonable and he fully intends for Bangladesh to rise.” – Michelle Nicol, Co-founder, The Social Producers.

We cannot wait to have Badiul share his experience of courageous leadership with you.
