Business Chicks Immersion Program
We have partnered with Business Chicks to deliver an exclusive women only immersion and leadership program for 20 extraordinary Business Chicks Premium Members. If you have ever wanted to do something that makes a difference, that changes who you are and who you could be, then that time is now. Join us on our Business Chicks leadership immersion program (as seen in the Huffington Post) and develop your true leadership potential.
You don’t need to be a leader now; this is a personal journey of discovery. If you have always known you were capable of more, then this is your opportunity to play a bigger game. Push through your fears, there is no such thing as ready.
Our partnership with Business Chicks began in 2011 when Business Chicks Global CEO, Emma Isaacs, met The Hunger Project’s former CEO, Cathy Burke. Emma decided then and there that they’d work together in some way. Out of that connection a partnership between the two organisations was born: a leadership and immersion program for Business Chicks Premium Members – an opportunity for women to step up to their true leadership capacity.
“Coming home to our exquisite lives in Australia has been difficult and I’ve found myself in tears, or on the verge of them, quite a few times. A lot of people have asked how exactly it’s changed me, and I’m not sure of that yet, but I know I’ll never be the same again.”

How it works:
Premium Members of Business Chicks are invited to apply and a group is selected for each program. Since our first trip to Bangladesh in 2012, more than 100 incredible women have ventured on a journey to unlock their creativity, leadership, and entrepreneurialism in tandem with some of the poorest and most marginalised women in the world.
By committing to fundraise a minimum of $10,000 each, the trip participants work to identify and abandon unconscious beliefs that hold them back from living to their fullest potential. This experience is shared with supportive women who are all up for something big. This process, in conjunction with working with our trip facilitators, leads to unimaginable breakthroughs in both their personal and business lives: by discovering, nurturing and embedding their own unique leadership skills.
Business Chicks and The Hunger Project believe in the same thing – supporting and developing women leaders and creating a space for women to connect, stretch and make a difference in the world.
This is an experience to connect with humanity on such a profound level that has you dance with joy under the African sky or sit humbly in the dirt in India while listening to stories of courage, determination and resilience.
“I learnt so much from the women in Bangladesh. When I look back at how petrified I was at fundraising $10,000 and how easily I could have let this opportunity just slide by because of fear, I’m filled with shame. The women showed me that anything is possible and as long as you change your mindset you’re capable of achieving the unknown.”
